Configuration via SMS Commands

General

Some configurations, status queries, and actions can be performed via SMS commands. However, a complete configuration of the IPG is not possible in this way. SMS commands are a useful supplement during commissioning, especially when no access to a PRG 100 or PRS/PRK is available.

For all SMS commands, correct use of upper and lower case as well as the exact input format must be observed. Settings and security-related queries are protected by a PIN (SMS PIN lock). Commands and queries are only executed if the SMS begins with the correct PIN command.

The factory default PIN is “00000000” and can be changed. The commands STATUS?, VERSION?, and MSG? can also be executed without specifying the PIN.
