Operation and maintenance

Establishing a call between machine room and elevator cabin

  • Lift the machine room telephone (MRT).

  • The emergency call device (NRT) is called automatically.

  • Depending on whether it is operating in single mode, master/slave mode, or multi-device mode, the NRT responds with either a tone or a post-dial prompt.

    • If necessary, enter the post-dial digit for the corresponding NRT.

  • The emergency call device answers and the call is established.

  • The call ends either after the communication time expires or when the telephone is hung up.

MQTT-Monitoring

Via MQTT-Monitoring status data of the IPG and informations about the mobile connection, including current events, are transmitted to the TGE Cloud.
In TGE Cloud, these data are used to determine and display the current device status in the “Gateway Status” section.

MQTT monitoring is enabled by default and can be deactivated if required via the PRG 100 or the web interface.

Via PRG 100:

Open the menu Einstellungen? / MQTT? and change the value of MQTT Monitoring to Deaktiviert (disabled).

Via Web Interface:

Open the web interface, go to “Einstellungen” and in the MQTT section change the value of MQTT monitoring to disabled.

MQTT monitoring is supported with both Siwaltec SIM cards and SIM cards from other providers, provided that a properly configured mobile connection is available.

Note on data usage

The data usage agreement applies in connection with MQTT monitoring and the transmission of status and connection data to the TGE Cloud.

The complete Data usage agreement is included with this operating manual and should be read carefully before commissioning.

Decommissioning the device

  • Disconnect the red and black wires from the battery.

  • Disconnect the IPG from the power supply.

Replacing Battery

The lead-gel battery of the IPG should be replaced at least every three years.
